A long time ago Adobe Created the PDF. There was a time when it was a pretty decent format but as we all know the application has become extremely bloated. It takes time to open and often hangs your browser while u wait. Although I haven't associated it with my browser, yet. I still think this program is an amazing alternative. On my machine opening a PDF is virtually instantaneous.
